Bungee Ejection in a Natural Setting
Attached to two existing trees, it adds a thrill ride to an adventure park, 12 to 18 m high.

Hybrid Bungee Ejection

Horizontal Bungee Ejection
The rider is launched on a low, skimming trajectory at 80 to 140 km/h, for a spectacular feeling of flight.

Bungee ejection FAQ
What is a bungee ejection?
It is a thrill ride: the person, sitting in a harness, is launched by elastic cords tensioned with an electric winch, then released by a release hook. It comes in a vertical version, up into the sky, and a horizontal version, as a human slingshot.
What is the difference between vertical and horizontal bungee ejection?
The vertical version launches the rider up to 18 m high, followed by a series of oscillations that gradually die down. The horizontal version launches them on a low, skimming trajectory at 80 to 140 km/h, for a feeling of flight.
Who can do a bungee ejection?
In the vertical version, the attraction welcomes teenagers from age 12 and adults, from 1.40 m tall and from 35 to 115 kg. In all cases, the customer is weighed and the number of elastic cords is adjusted to their weight.
How many staff are needed to operate it?
A single operator is enough. A ride lasts about 3 min 30 in the vertical version, i.e. 15 to 18 customers per hour; the horizontal version handles about 12 customers per hour.
Is a bungee ejection safe?
The entire tensioning system is duplicated: ropes, pulleys, harness attachments and carabiners. Each installation is approved by a recognized inspection body before commissioning, and operators follow a check procedure before every launch.
What maintenance is required?
The wear parts are well known: the elastic cords are replaced roughly every 1,000 to 1,500 launches depending on the version, the harness according to its number of uses, and the ropes and pulleys at least once a year. Maintenance represents about 5% of revenue.
